My career began over 25 years ago as a psychologist, when the body was not considered a key element in personal or collective change. I worked in psychiatric hospitals with people suffering from anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and self-injury. I had a successful outpatient psychotherapy practice. I trained in biopsychology, sleep research, and stress management.
I became a passionate advocate of embodiment when I witnessed its healing power. Today, I help entrepreneurs, coaches, teachers, visionaries, and companies on the front lines of change to nurture sustainable productivity, resilience, and well-being in the people they work with.
My work integrates science, psychology, movement studies, connective tissue research, contemplative practice, and social and gender justice.
