Fiona Akhtar "I was drawn to the Elemental Yoga Teacher Training program because of its focus on the mind-body connection and also because of how much I enjoyed practicing in the Elemental Yoga style. I wasn't sure what I expected to get out of the training, but I felt certain it would deepen my practice. And that it undoubtedly has done! Bo truly integrates the mind-body connection into her unique style of yoga and conveys her passion for yoga and teaching to her students. I've come away with not only a deeper understanding of psychology, anatomy, and alignment, but also with a sense of trust in the universe and an appreciation for the serendipity that brought me to the Elemental Yoga training."

Fiona Akhtar, RYT

"The training was very comprehensive. It covered a broad range of topics I doubt most yoga trainings come close to. From anatomy, to Sanskrit, to the Sutras and the Gita, a journey through the five bodies, samskara mapping, then the opportunity to work with live clients focusing on depression, anxiety, spinal anomalies and more. Wow! It was way beyond my expectations. "

Kaylee Murphy, LICSW, RYT

Application Process:

Our application procedure offers the opportunity to get to know Bo's style of vinyasa and restorative yoga, meet our graduates, and be confident that you're taking a mindful and powerful step to benefit your personal practice and teaching. If you live in the New England area, we ask that you take a minimum of three therapeutic vinyasa or restorative classes with Bo. Then, you can schedule an informational interview with one of our teacher training graduates to learn about our program from the "inside out." When you've done so, please request an application from Amy at support@boforbesyoga.com. We look forward to meeting you.

Out-of-Town Track Application Process:

If you live outside the New England region, we have a special support system in place to enable you to get the most out of our teacher training. Please contact Amy, our Out-of-Town Track Ambassador, by emailing support@boforbesyoga.com and let her know you're in the Track. She'll stat the process of arranging a graduate interview via skype, and then you'll have a second skype interview with Bo. To ensure that the fit is mutual, we'll request two letters of recommendation, one from a yoga teacher and the second from the person of your choice. We'll also provide you with a list of recommended videos to review before applying, and have you fill out a special "Out-of-Town" version of our application. Once accepted, you'll be paired with both an Out-of-Town Graduate Mentor as well as a local Graduate Mentor. These mentors will help integrate you into our community and introduce you to Bo's unique method of yoga therapeutics. We look forward to meeting you.
